These are averages. Video is what changes most with quality, and on mobile data almost every app lowers it on its own.

## How to use less

- **Download before you leave** Offline maps, shows and playlists. That's where most data goes.
- **Lower video quality** In YouTube and Netflix, under mobile data settings. You'll barely notice on a phone, and it halves the data used.
- **Turn off photo backup** Let your trip photos upload only when you're on Wi-Fi.
